Screening of 2019 Positivity Day Video Challenge Entries
“Lights, Camera, Action.”
The submissions have been received for the 2019 Positivity Day Video Challenge. Many residents, schools and not-for-profit organizations submitted video’s and the winners from each category will be announced at a “Night at the movies” themed event. The event will be held Monday June 3rd, at 6pm at the Ten-Seven Cafe and Lounge located at 595 St. Clair Street in Chatham. Anyone wishing to view the submissions is invited to attend the celebration which will include popcorn, nachos and other movie related snacks.
“We were very impressed with all the submissions,” said Jason King, Co-Chair of the Positivity Day In CK Committee. “The video’s were really enjoyable to watch, it was great to see the creativity and energy that Chatham-Kent residents have.”
In addition to announcing the winners of the video challenge, Darrin Canniff, Co-Chair of the Positivity Day In CK Committee, will also be announcing some exciting news regarding sponsors and plans for this year’s 12 Days Of Positivity, which will run from September 23rd – October 4th. “We can’t believe the response of the business community this year” says Canniff, “TekSavvy has come to the table in a big way supporting Positivity Day with a $10,000.00 donation making them the title sponsor again. This allows us to plan ahead and really spread the message of how positive the community of Chatham-Kent really is.”
