Severe weather leads to crash in Lambton

(OPP)

Lambton OPP officials allege: On June 1, 2019 at 3:45 p.m. the Lambton Ontario Provincial police (OPP) attended Oil Heritage Road south of London Line in the Township of Plympton-Wyoming to investigate a multiple vehicle collision.

Upon arrival, police determined three motor vehicles had been involved in the collision.

Further investigation revealed that the vehicle travelling northbound crossed the centre lane due to severe weather and reduced visibility in the area, colliding with the two vehicles travelling southbound.

Three occupants were transported to hospital to be treated with minor injuries.

Oil Heritage Road was shut down for a short period of time to ensure no further collisions and to allow the vehicles to be removed.
