Police: Break and enter, warrants executed

Break and enter in Chatham

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Just after 2 a.m. this morning, unknown suspects forced their way into a residence on Campbell Street in Chatham.

The suspect broke a rear door to gain entry.

Once inside, the suspects stole a large amount of cash.

Investigation is still on going at this time.

Warrants

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday afternoon, officers on general patrol located a male party who currently was wanted by Chatham-Kent Police Service.

The male party was arrested on the strength of the warrant for breach of recognizance and transported to courts for bail hearing

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday morning, police on general patrol located a female party who had a number of outstanding warrants with Chatham-Kent Police Service.

She was arrested on the strength of the warrants and released with a future court date.
