Last night, the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 18 in Wallaceburg presented Constable Todd Trahan with a Certificate of Appreciation for his years of dedicated service to the community of Wallaceburg during waterway events, such as Dragon Boat Races and WAMBO.

“I am truly humbled to have been recognized for my involvement in our community over the past 15 years,” stated Constable Todd Trahan in a press release.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Legion for the nomination and their involvement in our community. Many people may not know that the Legion has been the official sponsor for the annual Sydenham Challenge Dragon Boat Festival for the past 18 years with this event growing every year to now hosting 34 teams from across North America. The Legion has also been part of WAMBO for the past 31 years.”

Trahan added: “It’s been an honour to be part of these events over the years, especially in the community where I live and serve.”
