Book Bash Canadian Children’s Literature Festival
Book Bash Canadian Children’s Literature Festival is a fun-filled, free festival featuring a variety of activities and programs with Canadian children’s authors, illustrators and entertainers. CKPL’s festival will highlight First Nations and French-language literature and culture.
Book Bash is a community festival and many Chatham-Kent organizations are partnering with Chatham-Kent Public Library to make the event a success. Many thanks to our partners, Conseil scolaire catholique Providence, St. Clair Catholic District School Board, Lambton Kent District School Board, Bkejwanong First Nation Public Library, Chatham-Kent Child Care and Early Years and ACFO WECK for their ongoing commitment to the festival.
Funding for the Festival is made possible through the Muller Scholastic Endowment Fund for Canadian Children’s Literature at the Toronto Public Library Foundation. The Fund was established by Larry Muller, retired president of Scholastic Canada, to create an annual children’s literature festival promoting reading and recognizing the value of Canadian children’s literature to Canadian families.
