“Wee Movers” event this weekend

Join us on Saturday, October 26th from 9:30am to 12:00pm at the W.I.S.H. Centre, 177 King St. E., Chatham ON for “Wee Movers”!

“Wee Movers” will be an active time for children to crawl, run, jump, throw, and catch with their care-givers.

This event will include interactive learning stations with Maeghan James, a Child Health Researcher from the University of Toronto, who will be teaching about the importance of physical literacy.

Physical literacy is the motivation, confidence, physical competence, knowledge, and understanding to value and take responsibility for engagement in physical activities for life.

So join us for a “gym turned jungle” adventure with EarlyON and the Chatham-Kent Physical Literacy in Communities Project, sponsored by the Ontario Trillium Foundation.

To register for “Wee Movers” please visit www.chatham-kent.ca/earlyon or call 519-351-1228 ext. 2429.
