Tamminga: Talo, formerly of Florence, was ushered into glory by his Lord on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at the age of 84. Born in Slochteren, The Netherlands, Talo spent his first 42 years there before making a new home in Canada with his family on May 5, 1977 where he continued to farm and faithfully serve his Saviour, family, and community for the next 42 years, before being promoted to glory.
Talo was the son of the late Talo and Hillechien (Lenting) Tamminga and beloved husband of the late Jitske (Buist) Tamminga (2019). Devoted father of Talo (Dineke), Bill (Marian), Jake (Lorraine), Rene, daughter-in-law Marsha Tamminga, Diane Bergsma (Allan), Gerry (Dawn), Hilco (Ann).
Loving Opa to Christina, Amanda(Harvey), Jared (Sarina), Danielle (Dustin), Ken (Rebecca), Jenise (Rudy), Eric (Natalie), Adrian, Heidi, Lucas (Angela), Esther (Nathan), Bethany, Caleb, Levi, Dustin (Jessica), Dalles (Michelle), Jordan, Jesse (Nicole), Charity, Brooklyn, Jasper, Jobina (fiancé Kieran Halliday) , Desiree, Dean, Lakem, Jayelle, Landon, Lincoln, Langley, Natalia, Jodi, Josh (Justinne), Kyle, Lauren, Nathan, Annika, and great-grandchildren Eden, Jordynn, Bria, Jude, Keira, Blair, Maverick, Faith, Benjamin, Remy, and Jack.

The Tamminga family will receive family and friends at the Eben-Ezer Canadian Reformed Church, 483 McNaughton Ave. E., Chatham on Wednesday from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM. The funeral service will be held at the Eben-Ezer Canadian Reformed Church on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at 10:30 AM. Interment at Mayhew-Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Thamesville.
