Municipality of Chatham-Kent officials say a major environmental initiative is set to be announced at the Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority office on Thursday morning.
The public is invited to join representatives from the Municipality, the Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority and other partners at 11 a.m.
Municipal officials are calling the announcement a “significant new funding announcement regarding increasing tree cover in Chatham-Kent.”
The Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority office is located at 100 Thames St, Chatham, ON N7L 2Y8 on the banks of the Thames River in downtown Chatham.
