Chatham-Kent Health Alliance (CKHA) is pleased to announce two new members to its Board of Directors. Jack Carroll and Stephanie Dries will join the Board in January 2020. Their appointments follow a thorough search process directed by the Nominations and Selection Committee.
“Mr. Carroll and Ms. Dries will add new competencies and experiential diversity to CKHA’s skills-based Board,” said Greg Aarssen, Chair, CKHA Board of Directors. “They join an exceptional and committed Board guiding CKHA in accordance with our Vision, Mission and Values.”
Jack Carroll is a resident of Chatham and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Toronto. He served the Province of Ontario as a Justice of the Peace, was an elected Member of Provincial Parliament and owned and operated a successful General Motors dealership.
“Mr. Carroll’s years of judicial leadership and business expertise are well suited to complementing the Board and speak to the high-caliber of community minded leaders CKHA continues to recruit for its Board,” said Aarssen.
Stephanie Dries is a resident of Chatham and holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto and an Honours Bachelor of Arts, Political Science and Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University. Stephanie has progressive career experience in a number of diverse roles including consulting, communications and corporate human resources.
“Ms. Dries’ commitment to excellence and progressive career experience are a perfect complement to our Board. Her knowledge, experience and insight will help us continue to strive in our governance and guiding CKHA in its delivery of high quality care,” said Aarssen.
In February 2018, CKHA announced its Board of Directors, the final step in the move to a new hospital corporation governing both the Chatham and Wallaceburg hospital sites.
