‘Dream Vacation Lottery’ winner announced

The New Year could not have started any better for Aline Middleton of Chatham, the grand prize winner of Community Living Wallaceburg’s Dream Vacation Lottery 2020.

The vacation, a $4,000 value, provides the opportunity to plan a vacation to any chosen destination.

Aline is an employee at Community Living Wallaceburg, and has worked with the Agency for 20 years which is a very rewarding outcome for the Travel Club Lottery.

The 2020 year is a significant year for Aline, as not only will she be travelling on her dream vacation, but will also be celebrating her husband’s 50th birthday and fifth wedding anniversary.

She is now in the works of planning an all-inclusive vacation to a tropical location, where she can enjoy the warm weather and relaxing amenities.

The Grand Prize draw, taking place on January 1 st , is one of six getaways and 12 cash prizes that will be drawn over the course of 2020.

Net proceeds from the fundraiser will enhance services and supports to over 400 people with intellectual disabilities in Wallaceburg and across Chatham-Kent.

“Thanks to the generosity of our local community, the lottery was another great success,” said Deborah Hook, Executive Director of Community Living Wallaceburg, in a press release.

“We want to thank everyone who was able to purchase a ticket for the Travel Club Dream Vacation Lottery 2020, as fundraisers such as this are only possible because of the support received from volunteers, employees and local businesses who help promote ticket sales and assist in being advocates for the agency.”
