Flags sweep the Kings out of the playoffs

The Mooretown Flags were dominant in a series clinching victory on Monday night in Dresden.

Mooretown topped the Kings 12-2 in Game #4, earning them a sweep in the opening round of the Provincial Junior Hockey League playoffs.

“Another season is in the books for your Kings,” the Dresden club tweeted.

“The organization would like to thank the fans and sponsors for their support throughout the year to our volunteers who work so hard for the team behind the scenes and to the staff and executives for your hard work. See you next year.”

Andre Brett and Jace Leach scored the goals for Dresden.

Mooretown outscored Dresden 37-7 in the four game sweep.
