Police: Assault with a weapon, MVC, mischief

Mischief

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At approximately 12:50 p.m. a man attended Walmart in Wallaceburg yelling and swearing at
employees.

The man then entered the bathroom and began damaging the partition wall between the urinals.

The man then fled the business.

Police located and arrested the 27-year-old man.

He is being held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Motor Vehicle Collision

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At approximately 11:02 a.m. police were called the area of Queen and Indian Creek Road for a motor
vehicle collision involving a pedestrian.

The pedestrian had run out in front of the motor vehicle.

The pedestrian was transported via ambulance to Chatham-Kent Health Alliance with non-life threatening injuries.

Mischief

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 19-year-old Wallaceburg man was involved in a dispute on February 3, 2020 where he smashed
a window.

The 19-year-old was located on February 20 and arrested and charged with mischief under $5,000.

The man was released with a future court date.

Assault with weapon

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Two parties became involved in a dispute over money.

The dispute escalated, and a 41-year-old male spit in the face of a 25-year-old female and then proceeded to throw a shoe at her striking her.

The 41-year-old man was arrested and released with conditions and a future court.
