Yvonne Margaret ‘Bonnie’ Gallerno, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away peacefully at the CKHA-Public General Campus on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at the age of 95.
Bonnie is the daughter of the late William Walter & Charlotte Ella (Johnston) LaPointe. Predeceased by her beloved husband Gerald ‘Jiggs’ Gallerno in 1999. Loving mother of Cathie Marshall (John) and the late Darline (Jim Dean). Caring grandmother of Coline (Rob), James, Charline (Dave), Tod (Rhonda), Robert, Erynn (Carl) and the late Roxine, great grandmother of Falon (Keven), Zach, Brandon, Tyler, Dustin, Ashley, Chris (Heather), Dean, Trevor (Elsie) and great great grandmother of Kylla, Kaley, Mack, Ryan, Aliya, and Kyle. Dear sister of Wilma, Charlotte, Freda and the late Lyle, Norma, Orland, Pauline, Gary, James, Dennis, and Sheila. Bonnie had retired from Consumer’s Glass in Etobicoke. She was the pillar of her family, always being there for them.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg from 11:30 – 1:30 PM on Saturday, March 7, with the memorial service to follow at 1:30 PM. The interment in Riverview Cemetery will be held at a later date.
