Wallaceburg Skating Club cancels ice show & remainder of season

The Wallaceburg Skating Club has cancelled their upcoming March 28 ice show and they have suspended the remainder of the season.

“As the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve, it is with regret that at this time (the) Wallaceburg Skating Club will be cancelling the year end ice show and the reminder of the season,” officials with the Wallaceburg Skating Club stated.

“We will keep you posted regarding the banquet scheduled for April 9, 2020.”

Dr. David Colby, Chatham-Kent’s Medical Officer of Health, ordered various measures on Friday, March 13 to control the spread of COVID-19 and he also declared a local emergency as a result. Details, here & here.
