Mischief on Murray Street in Wallaceburg

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A woman, who currently resides in Sarnia, on Sunday got into a verbal argument with her ex-boyfriend.

The man proceeded to kick and damage her vehicle causing damage to it.

The male was to be located and charged with mischief.

Theft at Walmart in Wallaceburg

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: While on patrol, an employee of Walmart approached an officer on patrol and advised that a male party that was driving away on his bike was believed to have shoplifted from
Walmart.

The accused was located and had on his possession, a bag full of meat and some other articles from Walmart.

The accused admitted to stealing from Walmart and was arrested for theft and possession under.

Through investigation, it was revealed the accused was on a recognizance not to attend Walmart as well as an outstanding warrant.

The accused was transported to Chatham-Kent Headquarters, charged with theft, possession under, and fail to comply with release order and held for bail.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Police responded to a disturbance in the Van Allen area.

Upon arrival, a male and female were involved in a verbal dispute.

During the investigation, a male was highly intoxicated and would not listen to officers.

He was arrested for being intoxicated in a public place and was lodged until sober.

Mischief in Chatham

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Police received call of an unknown female out of control yelling for police and smashing windows at an address on Murray Street.

The female fled from police and continued to smash windows.

She was arrested for mischief and transported to Chatham-Kent HQ where she was lodged and to be released on mischief charges when sober.

Warrant in Chatham

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On March 20, police were called to the Queensway Drive area around 2:30 p.m. in regards to suspicious male in the bushes.

Officers attended and located the suspect.

A query revealed the man had an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court on an 11 count firearms related incident.

The male was transported to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters where he was lodged pending a bail hearing.

Domestic in Tilbury

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On March 20, 2020 officers responded to a domestic disturbance in progress in Tilbury.

Upon arrival, the accused was not on scene.

The victim had sustained injuries as a result of an assault and the house had extensive damage caused by the accused.

While interviewing the victim the accused showed up and was arrested. The man is charged with assault with a weapon, mischief under $5,000 and breach of recognizance.

The male was transported to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters where he was later released on a Form 10 with a future court date.

Warrant in Wallaceburg

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On March 21, at 2 a.m. a male party was located walking on Queen Street in Wallaceburg.

The man was found to be subject of a warrant for theft and possession under.

He was arrested and transported to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters where he was processed and released on a form 10 with a future court date.
