Faber, Antje “Ann” Faber (nee Jansen)
Ann passed away peacefully at Riverview Gardens, Chatham, ON, and went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, March 26, 2020 at the age of 95.
She was born on May 5, 1924 in Meppel, the Netherlands and was the daughter of the late Albertus and Roelofje (nee Dozeman) Jansen.
Beloved wife of the late Jan Adrianus Faber (1979).
Loving mother of Janie (George) Anderson of Chatham, Leo (Ethel) Faber of Ridgetown, Rolien (Bernie) Tewinkel of Tilbury, and Carolin (John) Plat of Lasalle.
Proud grandmother and great-grandmother of Lisa Goodall (Chris Parkes) – Sarah, Samantha, Skylar, & Shelby; Darcy (Danielle) Faber – Matthew, Gabriel, Emma; Jessica Faber; David (Ashley) Faber – Mitchell, Alayna; Sean Tewinkel; and Adrian Plat and Jordan Plat.
Sadly missed by her brother Jan and her sisters Aaltje and Anka in the Netherlands.
Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her grandson Michael Faber (2010); brothers Geert, Roelof, Gerard and Outje of the Netherlands; and Jochem of Chatham; and sisters Geertje and Klaasje of the Netherlands.
A private family Funeral Service will be held. Interment to follow at Maple Leaf Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Kendrick Funeral Home-Chatham Celebration Centre, 4 Victoria Avenue, Chatham, ON (519-352-2390).

Ann was a faithful member of the First Christian Reformed church for over 65 years.
The family thanks the staff of Riverview Gardens, 5th floor East for their loving care of our mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Their dedication and compassion is so very much appreciated. We also thank Dr. Mark Tomen for the many years he attended to our mother’s medical needs.
