Stolen motorcycle in Wallaceburg

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Sometime yesterday morning, unknown suspects stole a 110cc Chinese model blue pit bike from a residence on Wallace Street.

Total value of the motorcycle was $450.

Man charged with break and enter

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Last night, around 11:50 p.m. police responded to the report of a break and enter in progress at a business on Story Street in Blenheim.

Upon arrival, officers could hear noise coming from a pick-up truck at the back of the business, inside the fenced compound.

The man fled on foot, however officers located him hiding in bushes in front of a nearby residence on Chatham Street.

Through investigation, police observed that the ignition inside the truck had been damaged in an attempt to steal it.

The 27-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested and charged with break and enter and commit mischief along with failing to comply with his daily curfew.

He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Recovered stolen motor vehicle in Blenheim

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: As a result of the above investigation, officers located a green 1995 Ford Bronco on Story Street in Blenheim which was reported stolen from Sarnia.
