Garbage and recycling pushed back due to Good Friday

This Friday’s garbage and recycling pickup across Chatham-Kent will be moved to Saturday due to the Good Friday holiday.

Here are some more details from the Municipality of Chatham-Kent:

GARBAGE AND RECYCLING – Collection services will only be affected by Good Friday (April 10). Those residents who would normally receive curbside collection on Friday, April 10 will receive it on Saturday, April 11. There are no collection changes for the week of April 13 (Easter Monday). Refer to the 2020 Recycling and Waste Collection Guide for further details.

TRANSFER STATIONS – The Harwich and Wallaceburg Transfer Station will be closed on Good Friday (April 10), but open on Monday, April 13. All other transfer stations will be open their regular hours. The current operating hours are subject to change due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

LEAF & YARD DEPOTS – All Leaf & Yard Depots will be closed on Good Friday (April 10) and open regular hours the week of April 13. The current operating hours are subject to change due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
