Break and enter in Ridgetown

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Sometime over the past week, unknown suspects forced their way into several storage units at 117 Erie Street South in Ridgetown.

Once inside, the suspects removed several electrician tools.

The total value of items taken has yet to be determined.

Break and enter in Chatham

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Sometime yesterday afternoon, unknown suspects entered an open garage on 171 St. Michael Street, in the city of Chatham.

The suspectS then located a Norco Malahide bicycle and fled the scene with it.

The value of the bicycle is estimated at $700.

Executed warrant

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday morning a male was located who was wanted for unlawfully in a dwelling, forcible confinement, assault and theft.

The 26-year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested and held for bail.

He has since been remanded into custody and has been transported to the South West Detention Centre.

Man charged with domestic related offences

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At approximately 8 p.m., police received a call from a female party indicating her ex-boyfriend had just left her residence upset.

Through investigation police learned that the man had threatened her.

The 37-year-old Walpole Island man was located shortly after and arrested.

He has been released from custody pending a future court date.
