Family dispute in Wallaceburg

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Early this morning, police responded to a family dispute at a residence in Wallaceburg.

A 15-year-old resident of the home was found to have been drinking and causing a disturbance.

He was arrested and transported to police headquarters.

He will be released when sober.

Stolen vehicle in Chatham

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Sometime between 9 p.m. last night and 6:30 a.m. this morning, unknown suspects stole a black 2014 Honda Odyssey from a residence on Harvey Street.

The van was last seen with Ontario license plate CAEN 428.

Motor vehicle collision

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday afternoon, police responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Prince Albert Road.

The driver lost control of his vehicle and came to rest in the ditch.

Luckily, he was not injured.

Total damage was estimated at $1,000.

The 78-year-old Chatham Township man was charged with careless driving.
