A fly over is set to take place, weather permitting, over Dresden on Friday, May 8, 2020.
The 403 Honor Flight will be flying over the Dresden Cenotaph and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 113 at 11 a.m. to celebrate the 75th year of the victory in Europe, officials with the Explore Dresden Facebook page posted.
The flight will then make three passes over Sarnia around 3:15 p.m.
The Sarnia passes will be over the hospital, nursing homes and Legion.
“Such a great group of people doing this,” Explore Dresden officials stated.
Fly overs often take place during Remembrance Day ceremonies in Dresden.
