Frost is occurring in most areas this morning with temperatures near or below zero. Frost is likely once again tonight with temperature dropping to near or below zero.
Hazard: Frost and freeze conditions.
Timing: Early this morning and again tonight into Friday morning.
Impact: Frost-sensitive crops and plants could be damaged or killed by frost.
Action: Take preventative measures to protect frost-sensitive crops and plants.
An extended period of significantly colder than normal temperatures will likely result in several days of frost. Hard freezes will also at times be possible at night into the early morning hours across much of southern Ontario through the weekend into early next week.
