Just a reminder to all my customers that the shop remains closed due the Covid 19 outbreak. At this point I have not received any indication of when the Ontario government plans to allow Barber Shops to reopen. As I said in a previous post when this finally does happen it will definitely NOT be business as usual. I am certain that we will be given very specific instructions on how we are expected to operate our establishments.
In anticipation of these changes my technical crew here at home (my kids)have been working on creating a website for the shop.
My main reason for this is that we are also experimenting with an online appointment booking system for the shop in order to control the flow of people coming in and out of the shop
I know this will be a difficult change for some of my older clients to adjust to and we are trying to make it as easy to use as we can.
Also for myself since I am very technologically challenged. The idea is that you will be able to go to my site and easily book your appointments yourself but also if you show up at the shop or call me I can go onto the system and easily book an appointment for you. I believe this may actually be a welcome change for many of you who would actually prefer to schedule appointments in advance
We are still working out the details and I will be sharing more information in the near future as we get it worked out
As with every other business trying to adjust to this new reality it will take some time to adjust and I thank you in advance for your patience
