Police: Warrants, parole violations, breach of peace

Warrant arrest

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 1:38 p.m. on 5th Street in Chatham, police located a Chatham male wanted for weapons dangerous and assault.

The male was arrested and held for bail.

Liquor License Act arrest

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At approximately 6 p.m., police responded to a domestic disturbance on Mary Street in Chatham and located a male and female in a verbal argument.

The male, who was highly intoxicated, left the residence and was subsequently arrested as he was unable to care for himself.

The Chatham male was held at Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters until sober.

Breach of peace

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 9:43 p.m. police responded to Bothwell after receiving a call of a highly intoxicated woman causing a disturbance at a residence on Chestnut Street.

The 60-year-old female refused to go into residence and continued yelling and screaming.

She was arrested for breach of the peace and transported to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters where she was lodged until sober.

Breach of release conditions arrest

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: While on routine patrol in Thamesville, police located a 31-year-old Thamesville man coming out of the Circle K Store.

Through investigation, police learned that he had been recently released from jail and was on a conditional sentence with one of the conditions being house arrest.

Police arrested the male who was also found to have been drinking which was another violation of his release.

He was held for bail and to be sent back to South West Detention Center to serve the remainder of his sentence.

Warrant

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 1:20 p.m. on Friday and arrest was made in Sarnia after the release of the accused for charges in Sarnia. Chatham-Kent Police held a warrant for theft and possession and escape lawful custody.

The accused was issued paperwork for a future court date to answer to the charges.

Unlawfully in a residence

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Friday, a man was arrested for being unlawfully in a dwelling after walking into residence through an unlocked front door. He claimed to be running away from someone. The man was released with a future court date.

Parole violations and arrest

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: As a result of a traffic stop a local male was found contravening conditions of his parole.

After further investigation the male was arrested on the strength of a parole warrant.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: As a result of the arrest of a man for a parole violation, a search was completed and the man was found to be in possession of a quantity of illegal drugs.

He was further charged with Possession for the purpose of trafficking.

Warrant

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Officers attended and located a local man who was subject of a surety relief warrant.

The male was arrested without incident and transported directly to South West Detention Centre.

Warrant

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Windsor Police Service advised that they had a local female stopped in their area who was subject of a CKPS warrant for theft and possession.

CKPS attended Windsor and took custody of the woman without incident.
