Lord Selkirk Bridge work impacting marine traffic

Marine traffic will be impacted by some work being done on the Lord Selkirk Bridge in Wallaceburg.

“In order to accommodate the scheduled replacement of a hydro component on the Lord Selkirk Bridge… the main power feed will need to be temporarily disconnected,” engineering and transportation officials with the Municiplaity said in a media release.

“This work will prevent the bridge from being opened for marine traffic… but will not affect vehicular traffic crossing the bridge.”

Municipal officials say this work will take place Monday, June 22, 2020 from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
