Matthew Lee Thompson of Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan, and a member of Walpole Island First Nation passed away at his home on June 28, 2020 at the age of 37.
Matthew is the beloved son of Elaine Thompson.
Loved father of Matthew, Tristan, Madison, Scarlett, Mattic and Benjamin.
Dear brother of Jonathan, Joshua and Daniel.
Former spouse and friend to Bree-Ann.
Matthew had served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a stone mason.
The family will receive relatives and friends at 119 Peters Road, Walpole Island on Thursday evening.
The funeral will be celebrated at Bills Lane & River Road North on Friday, July 3 at 1 PM.
Interment to follow at Highbanks Cemetery.
