House fire on Edgar Street in Chatham
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: The fire was initially= observed at the rear of the residence.
The fire department attended on scene and extinguished the fire.
No one was injured as a result of the fire and the total damages is estimated at $350,000.

Break and enter on Whitebread Line
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Sometime overnight on July 13, a barn was entered and a Green 2018 Honda 450 ATV was stolen.

Mischief and theft on Sass Road in Chatham
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Sometime over the weekend, unknown suspects smashed a window of a work vehicle, and stole numerous tools.
The investigation currently on-going.

Woman arrested on outstanding warrant
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday morning a Harwich Township woman attended the Chatham office of the Chatham-Kent Police station and turned herself in for failing to attend court.
The woman was taken into custody and later released pending a future court date of September 21, 2020.
Break and enter in Chatham
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Last evening police received a call of a suspicious female on Victoria Avenue in Chatham.
At the same time police received a call of a break and enter on Forest Street in Chatham.
Through investigation the police learned they were dealing with the accused of the break and enter.
As a result the adult female, of no fixed address, was arrested for break and enter and theft and possession under $5,000.
She was held in custody awaiting a bail hearing.
