Police execute search warrant
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On July 30, 2020 the Chatham Kent Police Intelligence Section with the assistance of the Critical Incident Response team executed a Controlled Drugs and Substance Act warrant on Raleigh St. in the city of Chatham.
As a result of the search a quantity of Fentanyl, scales, ammunition and Canadian currency was seized.
As a result, a 38-year-old man is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking in Fentanyl and two counts of breaching a prohibition order.
The accused was released with a future court date of September 3, 2020.
Break and enter in Ridgetown
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: The Chatham-Kent Police are looking for information regarding a break and enter in Ridgetown.
Sometime overnight between July 29 and July 30, unknown suspects gained entry into a building on Main Street East and removed a variety of tools and a UTV vehicle.
The vehicle and tools have been recovered.

Man charged with theft in Chatham
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: The Chatham-Kent Police arrested and charged an adult male after he took merchandise from a business on St. Clair Street without making any attempt to pay for it.
A 29-year-old male of Wallaceburg has been charged with fail to comply, theft under $5,000 and possession under $5,000.
The accused was released with a future court date of September 16, 2020.
Man charged with uttering threats
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: The Chatham-Kent Police have arrested a man following an altercation in Chatham.
On July 30, 2020 the victim and the accused were involved in a minor motor vehicle collision.
The accused approached the victim and a verbal dispute occurred.
The accused brandished a knife towards the victim and made threatening utterances.
The accused was charged with assault with a weapon and uttering threats.
The 25-year-old was released with conditions with a court date of August 25, 2020.
