Evelyn Rose

Our dear mother, Mrs. Evelyn Rose fell asleep peacefully one last time at her home on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at the age of 95, surrounded by her loving family.

Evelyn was born in Mitchell, Ontario on October 28, 1924 to the late Carl and Clara Kahle.

She leaves behind her children Allan Michael (Joanne Leclerc) of Ottawa and Patricia Lynn (Paul Zoula) of Wallaceburg.

Loving grandmother of Lee (Rose) Zoula of Tupperville and Paul Zoula Jr. and great grandmother to Maximus and Sofia.

She is also survived by her brother Harold Kahle of Kitchener.

Predeceased by her sisters Gloria O’Rourke and Jean Pinchin and her brother Carmen Kahle.

She also leaves behind nieces, nephews and friends.

Evelyn will be remembered for her nearly 25 years of volunteer work with the Sydenham Residence, her loving heart and her delicious pies.

The family would like to take this opportunity to thank the Victorian Order of Nurses (VON) and the PSW workers for their compassion and the excellent health care provided to Evelyn over the last 4 years to assist her with staying in her home.

Given the present circumstances we are all living through, a private family gathering and interment will take place at the Riverview Cemetery chapel on September 12, 2020.

If desired, remembrances to the Elder Abuse Prevention Ontario or the VON would be appreciated.
