$2,000 damage, $600 in booze stolen after Wallaceburg LBCO B&E

The Chatham-Kent Police Service continue to investigate after the LCBO store in Wallaceburg was broken into on the weekend.

Chatham-Kent Crime Stoppers has labeled the incident as their ‘Crime of the Week.’

“On Sunday August 9, 2020 two unknown suspects used an ax to smash the front doors of the LCBO store on McNaughton Avenue in Wallaceburg, causing $2,000 in damages,” Crime Stoppers officials said in a press release.

“Once inside the suspect stole several bottles of alcohol worth $600. They then fled the scene on an ATV. Crime Stoppers is seeking information that can identify the two suspects involved in this break and enter. If you know who they are call 1-800-222-8477 with your anonymous information. You could earn a cash reward.”
