Evelyn Janssens, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away peacefully at the CKHA in Chatham on Friday, August 21, 2020 at the age of 74.
Evelyn is the daughter of the late Fred and Rose (Schwarze) Nowakowski.
Beloved wife of Ronald Richard Janssens.
Loving mother of Leslie Myers Young (Kris Young) and Marlo Janssens.
Dear grandmother of Ashley, Zachary and Skye.
Predeceased by her brother Gerhard Nowakowski and sister Sylvia Glasgow.
Sister-in-law of Uta Nowakowski, Paul Glasgow, Shirley Bondy, Larry & Kathi Janssens, Fran & Ted Webb, Murray Kerkhof, and Alan Kerkhof.
She will also be missed by all of her nieces and nephews.
Evelyn was a vivacious woman with a loving heart of gold, giving to others with great passion.
She had a real eye for unique treasures and antiques.
She immensely loved her family above all.
Many will remember her welcoming face from Dr. Ken Bell’s dental office and Mellis Real Estate.
The family will be having a private gathering to celebrate Evelyn’s life at a later date.
