Domino’s Pizza is coming to Wallaceburg

A new Domino’s Pizza restaurant is set to open in Wallaceburg next month.

Amanpreet Dahiya, store supervisor, told the Sydenham Current that construction at the 60 McNaughton Avenue building is going smoothly.

“We are very excited to become a part of an awesome community,” Dahiya said.

“We are very happy to inform you that the construction part is going well (and) on time. The store should be ready as of the first week of October or maybe even earlier if things go as planned.”

Dahiya said they are starting their hiring process as well.

“We will be hiring motivated team members to fill different positions in our team (starting) next week,” Dahiya said.

“Interested applicants are welcome to apply for the positions of Customer Service Representative and Delivery Experts position. They can email us at Dominos.Wallaceburg@gmail.com.”

Dahiya said the name of the franchisee is Ricky.

“He has been working in Domino’s Pizza for over 10 years now,” Dahiya said.

“He is running three successful locations in Toronto.”

Dahiya added the rationale for choosing Wallaceburg “is better growth opportunities.

“The city can enjoy the great pizza and we can be a part of Wallaceburg,” Dahiya said.

The building, which is currently being renovated, is the former location of Mufflerman. The long-time auto repair shop closed permanently on December 1, 2017. Details, here.

The building was temporarily utilized by O’Neil Tire and Battery for about eight months starting in February of 2018, after a fire destroyed their building at 69 McNaughton Avenue in January 2018. Details, here. Kim O’Neil and his crew have since re-built and are operating at their original location.
