Break and enter

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday morning police responded to a break and enter to a business on Grand Avenue East in Chatham.

Sometime overnight an unknown person entered a patio area on the property and took four patio tables, 12 chairs and three umbrellas valued at approximately $5,000.

The investigation is ongoing and there are currently no suspects.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Last night police responded to a break and enter at a business on Arnold Street in Wallaceburg.

Sometime over the last two weeks an unknown person entered a storage unit and removed a ring, suitcase and various electronics.

The value of the property taken is estimated to be $500.

The investigation is ongoing and there are currently no suspects.

Traffic enforcement

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday police conducted a Road Safety initiative across several locations throughout the Municipality.

As a result 30 tickets were issued along with several warnings.

Speeding is dangerous and costly.

Please slow down and obey posted speed limits.
