16 active COVID-19 cases in Chatham-Kent

There are now 16 active COVID-19 cases, one active workplace outbreak and one active community outbreak in Chatham-Kent, CK Public Health officials say.

The Chatham-Kent Public Health Unit updated their ‘current situation’ page, which provides a summary of COVID-19 cases and testing in Chatham-Kent, on Friday, October 23, 2020.

The total number of cases in Chatham-Kent has risen to 388.

Five of the active cases are linked to close contact, five are related to the community outbreak, two are unknown, one is related to a workplace outbreak and three are pending.

Details about the workplace outbreak have not been released.

There are zero institutional or school outbreaks.

CK Public Health officials say no one is currently hospitalized with COVID-19 from Chatham-Kent.

To date, 369 people have recovered from the virus, while three people have died.

A total of 33,829 tests for the virus have been completed to date.
