Basketball Wallaceburg is starting a ‘skills and drills” program starting next week.
“Let’s not let COVID ruin the whole year,” the organization posted on social media.
Here are the details:
– Grade 9-12 girls Monday and Wednesday from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
– Grade 7-8 girls Tuesday from 4:30 p.m. 6:30 p.m.
– Grade 4-6 boys and girls Thursday from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
– Beginning Monday, November 2, 2020
– Running for seven weeks
– Location: Wallaceburg Kinsman gymnasium
– Cost: Grade 9-12 is $70
– Grade 4-8 is $50
“Registration, payments, waiver signing and COVID screening will take place on the first night and will require parent/guardian authorization,” Basketball Wallaceburg officials say.
“Parents will not be allowed to remain in the gym. Each player is to come dressed to play, with their own mask and water bottle. If you plan on attending please comment or message your child’s name and age, so we will have a rough idea of numbers. Hope to see your child out on the court.”
