Mrs. Elsie Segaert, passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance (Chatham) at the age of 92 years.
Elsie was born in Wallaceburg and was the daughter of the late Gabriel and Eugenie (Six) Van Meenen.
Beloved wife of the late Elie Segaert (1990).
Loving mother of George (Betty Ann) Segaert and the late Robert Segaert (Elaine Kitchen).
Dear grandmother of Kristina Segaert-Baillargeon, Terri-Lynn (Larry) McFadden, Aaron (Melissa) Segaert and David Segaert.
Great grandmother of Zack, Austin, Maggie, Gabriel, Bailey and Maddie and great great grandmother of Bennett and Colt.
Kind sister of Agnes Murphy and the late George Van Meenen.
Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The late Elsie Segaert rested at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg.
Following her wishes cremation will take place.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at 11:00am from Our Lady help of Christians Church.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Chatham Kent Hospice may be left at the funeral home.
