Lambton OPP officials allege: On October 31, 2020, at approximately 5:10 p.m. Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a person that fell from a vessel and failed to resurface in Lake Huron near the mouth of the St. Clair River in the City of Sarnia.
On November 3, 2020 Lambton County OPP and OPP Underwater Search and Recovery Unit located and removed the deceased person from the water.
The deceased has been identified as Christopher Degroot, 31-years-old, of Sarnia.
