Update: OPP identify victim after fatal crash on the 401

Chatham-Kent OPP officials allege: The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has identified the driver who died following a two motor vehicle collision that occurred on November 23, 2020 at approximately 11:05 a.m.

Glen Quann, 60-years-old of London, died after the vehicle he was operating and another vehicle collided in the eastbound lanes of Highway 401 east of County Road 42.

The passenger in the deceased’s vehicle was transported to hospital for treatment of life threatening injuries.

The driver and lone occupant of the other involved vehicle was not injured.

The eastbound lanes of Highway 401 at County Road 42 were closed for several hours for the completion of the investigation.

The investigation is ongoing and further updates will be provided as they become available.
