Stunt driving charges laid on Dufferin Avenue in Wallaceburg

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday, an officer on general patrol observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed on Dufferin Avenue in Wallaceburg.

The officer recorded the man driving 119km/h in a posted 60km/h zone.

He was charged with stunt driving, driving while under suspension, using unauthorized plates and driving with no insurance.

His vehicle was towed and impounded for seven days.

He will be required to attend Provincial Offences Court on Jan 6, 2021.
