Male arrested for bail violation and mischief in Chatham

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Shortly after 6:20 a.m. on December 28, police attended a King Street bank for an unwanted person.

Police located a 46-year-old man in the ATM area and arrested him for breaching his bail conditions.

He was further charged with mischief after having urinated on the property.

He was released with a future court date of February 9, 2021.

Warrant arrest in Chatham

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On December 29, around 1 a.m., as a result of a traffic stop, a 42-year-old man was arrested on outstanding warrants for failing to attend court.

A search incident to arrest revealed he was also in possession of methamphetamine and was further charged with possession of a controlled substance.

He was released with a future court date of January 21, 2021.

Warrant arrest in Wallaceburg

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 3:30 a.m., police arrested a 24-year-old man on an outstanding warrant for mischief under $5,000.

The man was transported to Police Headquarters and a bag of methamphetamine was found on him after being searched.

He was further charged with possession of a controlled substance and held for a bail hearing.
