‘Love Lock Down’ event to help eight couples say ‘I Do’

In this day and age of lockdowns, postponements and life event cancellations, a group of wedding professionals have come together… in the name of love.

During the pandemic, engagements are on the rise and couples looking for a small, yet meaningful public display of their love, can still happen with proper PPE.

The Co. is a unique storefront, location for couples to walk down the aisle with all the pomp and circumstance and unite, while having their nuptials witnessed safely by on looking guests, watching through the display window, from the sidewalk.

Couples will be invited to be among the first to commemorate their love by adding their love lock to the Love sculpture located at The Co.

Love Lock gardens are popular all over the world including Paris, France and Toronto, Ontario to name a few.

The Co., will set the stage.

To Suite Your Fancy, will make it gorgeous.

Doug Robbins from With This Ring, will make the ceremony special and legal.

Waylin Grin, from Just Grin will provide the soundtrack, while Chad Barry Photography will capture the moment.

In the past 10 months’ couples in love have had to put their nuptials on hold.

“Many lovebirds’ have been forced to move their wedding dates, cancel venues or reschedule their entire special day,” stated Doug Robbins, in a press release.

“When all they want to do is profess their love and get wed.”

Robbins added: “I have heard from so many frustrated couples that told me they just want to marry the person they love. I want them to know; we heard you… and we have created this day to accommodate only eight lucky couples.”

The process couldn’t be easier, Robbins added.

Couples in love reserve their timeslot, bring their marriage license and the group does the rest.

“This is a non conventional way to wed or to reaffirm their love! But in this time of pivoting and making due during a pandemic, this concept will help couples in love say their I Do’s.”
