Man charged with break and enter
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday morning, police responded to a break and enter at a residence on Lagoon Road.
Through investigation, police identified the man responsible and he was taken into custody a short distance away.
Upon being searched incident to arrest, the man was found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine, crack cocaine, mini scales, cell phones and a debit card belonging to someone else.
The 28-year-old Chatham man has been charged with break and enter, mischief under $5,000, possession for the purposes of trafficking and failing to comply with his release conditions as he was currently bound by a condition not to possess any bank cards unless in his name.
He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Man charged with breaching his curfew
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On April 14, 2020 the man was released from court with several conditions.
One of those conditions stated that he was to obey a daily curfew of 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Just before 11 p.m. last night, an officer on general patrol observed the man driving his truck on McNaughton Avenue East in Chatham.
A traffic stop was initiated and the man was arrested.
The 48-year-old Chatham was charged with failing to comply with his release conditions.
He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Executed warrants
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Late yesterday afternoon, police located a woman who was wanted for failing to comply with conditions of her probation order.
A 27-year-old Wallaceburg woman was arrested and released a future court date of February 23, 2021.
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Last night, police located a man who was wanted for possession for the purposes of trafficking.
The 27-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested and has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Traffic enforcement
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday, officers conducted traffic enforcement on Longwoods Road.
Nine motorists were stopped and charged with speeding.

Neighbour dispute leads to mischief charges
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Tuesday night, police responded to an on-going neighbour dispute in Chatham.
Through investigation, police learned that the man damaged his neighbour’s property and that this was not the first time.
The 45-year-old Chatham man was arrested and charged with four counts of mischief under $5,000.
He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Man charged with domestic related offences
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Early Wednesday morning, police responded to a disturbance at a residence in Chatham.
Through investigation, police learned that the man forced his way into the backyard of a residence where his ex-girlfriend was at, causing about $100 to the fence.
The man then yelled at the woman, threatening to enter the residence, even though he was currently bound by conditions not to communicate with her.
As the woman called 911, the man fled the area in his vehicle.
Officers observed the vehicle travelling a short distance away and attempted a traffic stop.
The man failed to stop and continued driving to his residence where he was taken into custody once he pulled into the driveway.
The 25-year-old Chatham man has been charged with mischief under $5,000, failing to comply with his release conditions, breach of probation and flight from police.
He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday morning, police arrested a man who was wanted for domestic related offences.
The 49-year-old Chatham man was charged and released pending a future court date of February 23, 2021.
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Last night, police located a man who was wanted for break and enter and multiple counts of assault.
The 42-year-old Chatham man has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Electronics stolen in Chatham
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Sometime between Saturday at 3 p.m. and Tuesday at 7 a.m. unknown suspects entered the VIA Rail Station office and stole two Toughbook laptops.

Tools stolen in Chatham
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Sometime between Monday night at 10 p.m. and Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. unknown suspects entered a residence on Park Avenue East and stole two Milwaukee drills.

Theft of wire
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Sometime between January 21, 2021 and January 26, 2021 unknown suspects forced their way into the Hydro One electrical sub-station on Spence Line.
Once inside, the suspects stole approximately 20 feet of ground wire.
