All COVID-19 cases involving residents are resolved at Fairfield Park

Fairfield Park officials say only one active case of COVID-19 remain among their staff and all resident cases have been resolved.

“We are pleased to share that our staff and essential caregivers started receiving their first dose of the Pfizer vaccine yesterday at the Bradley Centre in Chatham,” Fairfield Park officials said in a media release issued on Friday, February 26, 2021.

“The rollout of COVID-19 vaccine for our staff and essential caregivers is another welcome step for us in the fight against COVID-19 and we remain vigilant in all ongoing infection prevention and control measures.”

The COVID-19 outbreak at the Dufferin Avenue long-term care home was declared on January 10, 2021.

A total of 100 positive cases have been linked to the outbreak, public health officials say.
