Drug bust in Wallaceburg

Chatham-kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday morning, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service Intelligence Unit, with the assistance of the Critical Incident Response Team, executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a residence on Wallace Street.

Approximately $1,400 worth of suspected methamphetamine and oxycodone pills were seized.

Officers also seized three prohibited knives, three digital scales, two cell phones, three packs of contraband cigarettes, a stolen Yamaha ATV, a stolen Honda generator and large amount of cash.

A 51-year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested and charged with:

– possession for the purposes of trafficking

– two counts of unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon

– two counts of being in possession of property obtained by a crime under $5000

He was released pending a future court date of April 7, 2021.

A 23-year-old Wallaceburg woman was arrested and charged with:

– drug possession

– unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon

– failing to comply with her release conditions

She was also arrested on an outstanding warrant and released pending a future court date of March 31, 2021.

A 33-year-old Sarnia woman Sarnia was arrested and charged with:

– two counts of being in possession of property obtained by a crime under $5000

She was released pending a future court date of April 14, 2021.

A 52-year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested and charged with:

– two counts of being in possession of property obtained by a crime under $5000

He was released pending a future court date of April 6, 2021.
