William Barner, age 65, left us peacefully on March 23, 2021 while under the kind care of Chatham-Kent Health Alliance in Wallaceburg. Beloved son of the late Joanne (Thompson) and William Barner Sr.
Bill toughly braved recent breathing problems. A humble yet mysterious soul, he was a freethinker with a fine sense of humour. Socializing spiritedly, taking in Western movies and owning a cat were a few of his passions and pleasures.
He’s remembered by friends, neighbours, and a big family. Our hearts are always with you, Bill.
Locations along the Sydenham River boardwalk were meaningful to Bill, who is interred at Riverview Cemetery. For details of a future memorial service, please contact First Baptist Church or Nicholls Funeral Home.
