More people invited to book their COVID-19 vaccine appointment in Chatham-Kent

CK Public Health officials say beginning on March 30, 2021, CK Public Health is inviting those residents over the age of 65 (born in 1956 or earlier) to call their COVID-19 Vaccination Line at 519-351-1010 to book a vaccination appointment.

“Residents 65 years and over with a last name starting with A-M please call Monday, Wednesday and Friday,” public health officials said in a press release.

“Residents 65 years and over with a last name starting with N-Z please call Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.”

To book an appointment, please call 519-351-1010 and leave a message, public health officials say.

“Messages can be left 24 hours a day and are returned Monday to Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. (except for Statutory Holidays),” CK Public Health officials say.

“This new age bracket includes a large segment of our population. It may take a few days before your call is returned. Please be patient; once you have left a message you do not need to call again.”

Public health officials say a total of 20,025 does of the COVID-19 vaccine has been administered to date.
