Man charged with assault
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday afternoon, police responded to a disturbance in Chatham.
Through investigation, police learned that during a verbal argument outside, the man ran into his girlfriend with his e-bike.
Thankfully, a concerned citizen stopped to help.
The man drove away prior to police arrival.
The 28-year-old Chatham man was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon.
He was released pending a future court date of April 23, 2021.
Stolen vehicle in Chatham
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Last night around 9:30 p.m. unknown suspects stole a white 2006 Ford F-450 truck from a business on Seventh Line.
The truck was unplated.

Break and enter in Wabash
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Sometime between Sunday and yesterday, unknown suspects forced their way into the United Church on Wabash Line, causing about $100 damage.
Once inside, the suspects stole a karaoke machine.

Motor vehicle collision
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Late yesterday afternoon, police responded to a two vehicle collision on St. Clair Street between Regency Drive and Pioneer Line in Chatham.
A 65-year-old Chatham woman was charged with making a lane change not in safety.
Traffic enforcement
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday morning, members of Community Patrol conducted traffic enforcement on Longwoods Road in Chatham
Yesterday afternoon, the Traffic Unit conducted enforcement on Mill Street West in Tilbury.
In total, 10 tickets were issued to motorists for various Highway Traffic Act offences.
