Police respond to a trio of domestics

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday morning, police received reports of a male and female arguing at the Ridgetown Inn.

During the argument, the male head butted the victim breaking her nose.

The male was arrested and charged with assault causing bodily harm.

He has been released from custody pending a future court date.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday morning, police received reports of an assault on Bedford Street in Chatham.

During an argument, the female struck the male victim in the head with a picture frame.

The female was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon.

She has been released from custody pending a future court date.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday evening, a male and female were arguing on Park Avenue in the city of Chatham.

The male left the residence at which point the female locked the door.

The male returned to the residence later on.

Upon discovering the door was locked, the male broke the glass in the door to gain entry into the residence.

The male was arrested and charged with mischief under $5,000.

He has been released from custody pending a future court date.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday evening, while on general patrol, police located a man wanted for failing to attend court.

A 41-year-old Chatham man was arrested and later released from custody pending a future court date.
