Lambton OPP officials allege: On April 11, 2021 at 8:30 a.m., members of the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were notified of a body in the St. Clair River, north of Fawn Island.
Members of Lambton County OPP attended the scene along with Lambton County Crime Unit and Forensic Identification Service.
An autopsy has been conducted and the death has been deemed non-suspicious at this time.
The identity of the deceased is still pending, however, investigators have reason to believe that they were a resident of the United States.
