Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Last night, police responded to a suspicious person call on Richmond Street in Chatham.

A 35-year-old Chatham man was located on the caller’s porch, and was arrested for being intoxicated in a public place.

He was released this morning when he was sober.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Last night at approximately 9 p.m. police responded to a call of a disturbance on Alexandra Avenue in Chatham.

Attempts to calm the 23-year-old Chatham man were unsuccessful and he was arrested for being intoxicated in a public place.

He was released this morning when he was sober.

Traffic stop leads to arrest

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: This morning at approximately 3:30 a.m. police responded to a suspicious vehicle complaint in Tilbury.

The vehicle was located on Mill Street in Tilbury.

Through investigation police learned that the driver was currently bound by a daily curfew between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. and was a suspended driver.

The 39-year-old male driver was charged with breaching his court ordered curfew and driving while suspended.
